Luann was born in Dodge City, Kansas to Jack and Louise Mitchell and was raised in Great Bend, Kansas. She attended Fort Hayes State College and worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer. Luann was a wonderful wife and mother and loved her pets and grand dog Chewy as well. Luann and husband, Mark enjoyed traveling all over the world, including New Zealand, Australia, France, Switzerland, Belgium and more. She was a member of two bridge groups at Mary Our Queen and loved playing Bridge with friends. Luann loved gardening in her yard and loved all facets of crafting. 

Preceded in death by parents and brother, Joe Bellingshausen. Survived by husband, Mark; children, Mary, Matthew (Josephine), and Maurine Hochanadel; grandchildren, Tet, Mark, Manny and Choi.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:30AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Interment: Omaha National Cemetery. Visitation Monday beginning at 5:00PM, with a Rosary Service at 6:30PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel.
