Marcella Rose Siemek

Marcie was born in Shelby, NE to George and Anne (Thanel) Korger. She grew up on a family farm and attended school near there. She was united in marriage to Alvin “Bud” Siemek, Jr. on May 3, 1950 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Shelby. She lived a life devoted to God, friends and especially her family. Marcie was a wonderful, caring and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. She was truly the rock and foundation of her family. She was a long time member of St. Anthony’s Church in Columbus, NE with a quiet, charitable and unshakable faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bernard and Jerome Korger; husband Bud; daughter Beverly Bomar of Jacksonville, FL; grandson-in-law Christopher Rudloff of Omaha.

Survived by children: Vern (Willa) Siemek, Tim (Connie) Siemek and Keith Siemek, all of Omaha, Ken (Deb Collins) Siemek of Lincoln, Al (Amy) Siemek and Pegg (Jeff) Siemek-Asche of Omaha; son-in-law Nolan Bomar of Jacksonville; sister-in-law Dolores Korger of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.

Private family services will be held.
