Mark Stephen Eldridge, 61, passed away at his home in Omaha, NE on August 15, 2022. Mark was born in Winston-Salem, NC on February 6, 1961 to Josiah “Joe” Eldridge and Roxie Ann Walters Eldridge. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey “Jeff” Eldridge and sister Jo Ann Eldridge Kruse.
Mark loved Jesus, his family, and everyone he met! He was a proud Carolina Tar Heel, Class of 1983, and a licensed Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. Mark wore many hats during his career – CPA, controller, CFO, business broker, business coach, franchise owner, consultant, financing specialist, and more. His mission was to help others pursue their own dreams and find joy and fulfillment in their lives. Mark coached and mentored numerous baseball players at Keystone Little League and served on UMB Bank’s Board of Directors for many years. He spread love and laughter to everyone who passed through his life. His greatest joy was his family, and he took every opportunity to brag about them.
Mark is survived by Susan Eldridge, his wife of 38 years, his daughter Jennifer Eldridge of Omaha, NE, his son and daughter-in-law James and Allee Eldridge of Raleigh, NC, and his son and daughter-in-law Mitchell and Erin Eldridge of Omaha, NE. Mark’s surviving family also includes sister-in-law Mary Beth Eldridge, brother-in-law Erwin Williams, III and wife Mary Clark, sister-in-law Kimberlee Buck and husband Dave, and many nieces and nephews: Melissa and Scott Doughty and their children Savannah, Gavin, and Aspen; Candice Pennington and her daughers Annabelle and Josephine, Janson and Kellie Eldridge and their daughter Parker; Natalie and Patrick Reid and their children Jude, Liam, Stella, and Olive; Nathan and Courtney Blanchard and their daughter Betsy; Meredith and Alex von Lindenberg and their daughter Charlotte; Ashlyn and DJ Gothe and their daughter Elle; Winn and Abbey Williams; Andrew Williams; Staci and Seth Smith and their daughter Grace; and Travis and Spring Fulp and their sons Banner, Avett, and Callan.
