Mary Ann Klinger

January 15, 1943 – July 3, 2024

Mary Ann left this world to join Our Heavenly Father on July 3rd after a few months of health problems. Mary Ann was born in St. Cloud, MN. She was the oldest child of Agnes and Norman Lien. Mary Ann worked most of her life in the phone business. Starting out in Rochester, MN with The Bell Telephone Company. Staying with the company as it went through acquisitions and name changes. She transferred to Des Moines and later to Omaha where she retired. Mary Ann was very involved with her sorority group (Beta Sigma Phi), Elks club (Benevolent Protective Order of Does), and other organizations. She loved playing cards and was the life of the party. 

Mary Ann is survived by husband, Richard; sister, Peggy (Richard “Dick”) Turch; brother, Carl Lien; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dusek-Lien and Susan Marshall; 10 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Norman and Agnes Lien; brothers, John and Robert Lien; sister-in-law, Anita Lien; niece, Kayla Lien.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be on Friday, July 12th from 5:00-8:00pm at Elks Lodge 6410 S. 96th St. Omaha, NE. Funeral Mass and burial will be in Minnesota at a later date.
