Mary Patricia Murphy, 86, of Carter Lake passed away on Monday June 10,2024. She was born May 23, 1938 in Oak Park IL to Louis and Genevieve Gibson. She married Ed Murphy on July 2, 1960 and raised two daughters, MaryBeth and Jennifer. Mary was a director of home healthcare with the VNA for a majority of her career in nursing. She and her husband Ed lived in nine different states in their 63 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband Ed, daughter MaryBeth and her husband Steve, daughter Jennifer and her husband Matt, granddaughter Grace and husband Gavin, brother Louis Gibson, brother John Gibson and wife Sande, and sister Betsy Smrz and husband Howard.
Interment Resurrection CemeteryThe family requests donations in lieu of flowers through the Siena Francis House in Omaha.
