The Steier Legacy.
Maurice Joseph Steier went to heaven on July 10, 2019 at the age of 98 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and John Steier; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; son, David and wife Arlene; daughter in law, Yvette Steier.
Beloved husband of 76 years of Marian Rose Steier. Beloved father of Jim (+Yvette), Susan, Rich (Nancy), Dan (Carole), +Dave (+Arlene), Nick (Sue), Joe (Kelly), Patrick (Maria); beloved grandfather of 30 and great grandfather of 29.
He graduated from Creighton University School of Pharmacy in 1943 and married Marian on May 1, 1943 at St. Johns Church on the Creighton Campus. He is a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater.
On May 1, 1946 he opened the Steier Pharmacy which continues today in Omaha. He is a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He had a lifelong love of Faith, Family and Flying.
