Michael J "Ace" Haas

 

Michael J. Haas, 74, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on December 21, 2023. He was born on December 17, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri. Michael was a beloved father, brother, and friend, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

 

Michael had a passion for music and was a talented musician at heart. During the day, he worked as a dedicated postman, serving his community with a smile. His commitment to his job and his love for music were both reflections of his kind and gentle nature.

 

Michael is survived by his children, Patrick (Sharon) Haas and Bridget (Joe) Padilla, as well as his brothers, Jerry, Tom, and Bill. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine, his parents C.P. and Gertrude Haas, and his sister, Judy. Michael's family meant the world to him, and he cherished the time spent with them.

 

In honor of Michael's life, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Family and friends will gather to remember and pay tribute to a man who brought joy and music into the lives of many.

 

Michael J. Haas will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
