He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Minnie Monie; 2 brothers; grandchildren, Nate and Rachel.



Walter is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Monie; children, Dana Monie, Brenda J. (Doug) Houston, Kevin J. (Julie) Monie, Renae (Greg) Soule; grandchildren, Misty, Dusty, Konrad, Spring, Elizabeth, Raegan, Courtney, Kelly, Paige, Colin, Camden, Riley, Erin and Addison; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, favorite dog, Chip and many friends.



Services:

Services will be held Monday, 7/24/17, at 11:00 am at the JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES AND CREMATORY, PACIFIC STREET CHAPEL 14151 Pacific Street Omaha, Nebraska 68154.



Inurnment:

Inurnment will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.
