Survived by her husband of 61 years, Maurice “Maury” Zach; children, Dr. Terry (Mary) Zach and Michele (Chris) Walker; grandchildren, Katie (Andy) Witt, Kelly (Katie) Zach, Patrick Zach, Claire (Andrew) Ives, Brittany (Aaron) Stirewalt and Abbey Walker; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Sam and Peter Witt, Benjamin, Anneliese, Josephine, Oliver and Ruby Zach; brothers, Richard (Pat) Backes of Broomfield, CO. Alvin (Gayle) Backes of Omaha, Lyle (Lois) Backes of Westfield, IN; sisters, Sr. Monica Backes,OSB of Norfolk, NE, and Leila (Bob) Bradley of Milwaukee, WI; many nieces and nephews.
