Patricia C. Guinane

Patricia Catherine (Barrett) Guinane passed away after a long illness on March 17, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, her sweet smile and welcoming nature touched many lives. She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's activities, celebrating their accomplishments, and offering words of encouragement. Pat volunteered often as a long-time member of both Blessed Sacrament and St. Michael's Parishes and the Mercy Hospital Gift Shop in Sioux City, Iowa. She was a dedicated employee for several companies, but most enjoyed the many years she worked alongside Ed as an administrative assistant. Pat's legacy of kindness will live on in the many hearts, minds, and memories of all who were fortunate to spend time with her.
 
 Pat was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Guinane; parents, Gerald and Catherine Barrett; sister Mary Rickert and brother Daniel Barrett. Survived by her children, Cathy Guinane, Tim (Gene) Guinane, Tom (Jill) Guinane, Mary Guinane; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother Jerry (Denise) Barrett, brother-in-law Jack Rickert; sister-in-law Marilyn Barrett; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorials in honor of Pat can be made to the Nebraska Humane Society
