Patricia Kelly Crawford, February 26, 1936 — April 28, 2022. Pat was born in Omaha, the daughter of Francis and Erline Kelly. Pat had a vibrant and charismatic personality, and was loved by all who knew her. She had many friends dating back to her childhood.
Pat was a strong advocate for the intellectually disabled. She was on the Nebraska governor’s council for developmental disabilities, testified in front of legislative and Congressional committees, and was a participant in the court case that kept Beatrice State Developmental Center open.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Mark E. Crawford. Survived by her children: Anne Crawford; Dennis and Diane Crawford; Matthew Crawford; Robert Crawford; and Molly and John Otten. Pat had 9 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren, with two more expected in 2022, Sister, Kathy (Keith) Priest.
