Preceded in death by husband Kenneth and sister Dolores Hansen.
Pat was born in Omaha, the oldest of 7 children born to Azize and Josephine Saidy. The family later moved to Colorado Springs. Pat had fond memories of working with her father in his linen shop in Colorado Springs prior to his death when she was 13. After high school, Pat attended Duchesne College in Omaha for one year, then moved back home to help support the family.
Pat married Kenneth Treinen in 1952; they shared 62 years together before Ken’s passing in 2014. Pat and Ken enjoyed playing bridge with friends, traveling and spending time with family. Pat and Ken were one of the founding families of St. James Parish, and Pat was school/parish secretary for 32 years. Pat enjoyed jewelry and shopping, especially combining the two. Shopping with her sisters was the absolute best.
Anything blue, be it clothes, purse, jewelry or shoes, was a sure bet. Pat’s bright smile and sparkling eyes will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by children Rick (Mary), Mark (Ursula), David (Wendy), Laura (Greg) Clark, Paul, and Katie (Mike) Beacom; 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sisters Sonia Willbrand, Margaret Hays, Kathleen Saidy, Linda Lamke and brother Ronald Saidy.
