Peter Jay Van Brunt

Peter Jay Van Brunt, 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 16, 2025 in Omaha, NE.  He was born on August 7, 1947 in Omaha to Jaques D. and Donna M. (Davis) Van Brunt.

Peter was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; parents; siblings, Mike Van Brunt and Mary Patton. Peter will be loved and dearly missed by children, Kyle (Bobbi) Van Brunt of Bennington, NE and Kim Van Brunt (Chris Oien) of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Dalton Jager of Council Bluffs, IA and Mason Van Brunt of Bennington, NE; siblings, Bob (Laurie) Davis of Bella Vista, AR, Sandy (Lee) Ackerman, and Bill (Bev) Davis of Omaha, NE; nephews and nieces. 

It was Peter’s wishes to be cremated. Graveside Service for Peter and Joan will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 2:30PM at Omaha National Cemetery.
