Phyllis Jane Cetrone

She attended St. Margaret Mary Grade School, Cathedral High School and graduated from Duchesne College in 1941. Phyllis studied music with a private teacher for 12 years and was an accompanist for 4 years for the Duchesne College Glee Club and an accompanist for the Creighton University Glee Club for 2 years.



She worked at the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. She worked for Peter Kiewit and Sons where she met her future husband of 66 years, Mike. Her civic activities included the Good Shepard Auxiliary, the Alumni Board of Duchesne College for three terms, Children of Mary, twice as President, Bergan Mercy Hospital Board, Creighton Prep Bash Chairwoman and Christ Child Society Board for 2 terms.



She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Cetrone, Phyllis Anne Cetrone Johnson, Sara Cetrone, and Michael Cetrone.



Phyllis is survived by her children, Jane (John) Monnich, Patricia (Dan) Koch, Steven (Patricia) Cetrone and her son-in-law, Herb Johnson.



Grandchildren, Sara (Les) Johnson Wilkinson, Caroline (Brant) Johnson Horne, Susan Johnson, Jessica (Joe) Koch Jarecki, Dan (Sandra) Koch, Jr, Hollyn and Brenna Cetrone, John, Jr. (Cecilia) and Brian (Courtney) Monnich;



Great grandchildren, Jakob Smith, Claire and Emma Koch, Ben, Luke, Meredith, Charlotte and Alonzo Monnich, John and Charlie Horne, Olivia and Ava Jarecki, Hart and Suzanna Wilkinson.
