What can we say about Richard ”Dick” Wurgler or more affectionately Unk to his family. He was kind, thoughtful and funny with a generous spirit. He was the ultimate soul brother, life of the party and a true partner in crime. His heart and home was always open to anyone in need or if you just wanted to stop by and say hi. He had a deep love for family and friends. Unk loved to visit in person or on the phone, he was kind of a night owl and it wasn’t unusual to get a call from him at 3 AM asking what you were doing. With a deep love for animals in his younger years, he raised and showed chow chow‘s which he enjoyed very much. Dick is the son of Bill and Kay Wurgler, he was the fourth out of five children. He loved his siblings Bill Jr., Nancy, Sharon and Patty. The much loved and favorite uncle of 14 nieces and nephews Bill III, Gerald, Jeff, Mike, Tim, Kimm, Rick, Donnie D, Donnie E, Tammy, Crystal, Geri Kay, Dusty, Nick and numerous great and great great nephews and nieces. He was also overjoyed to find out he had a son, Sean Rosseter. Calling the Benson area of Omaha his childhood playground and home, then later following in his dad and brother Bill‘s footsteps attending and graduating from Kemper Military School and College. To know him was to love him, he was a friend for life and will be missed more than we can ever express. He is at home now with our Lord and all of his loved ones that have passed before him. What a party they must be having!!
