Richard Lee Goldman

Richard Lee Goldman died peacefully on September 24th, 2016 in Palm Desert, California. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska to David and Angela Goldman and spent most of his life there. He married Myra Abramson in 1954 and they continued to live in Omaha. Richard was the owner of long-time family business, Herzbergs, which were ladies ready-to-wear clothing stores. After selling Herzbergs, Richard and Sander Kasin co-founded the Goldman-Kasin Company, a real estate firm involved in development, construction and property management. Richard and Myra moved to San Francisco in 1990 where Richard got involved in real estate projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Myra died in 1993 and soon after her death, Richard retired. In 1994, he married Helen Marchick. They lived in Napa, CA and Rancho Mirage, near Palm Springs, California, eventually moving full-time to Rancho Mirage. Richard is survived by his wife, Helen: sister, Kaye Kulesh; sons, John and Daniel; daughter, Jane and son-in-law, Jonathan Lieberman

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Temple Israel Cemetery, 6412 N. 42nd St., Omaha, NE.
