Robert G. Poledna
July 28, 1943 – July 18, 2022
Bob spent his entire life in Omaha, graduating from Benson High school in 1962. Bob worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and retired after 38 years at Douglas County garage. Bob’s true passion in life was classic cars and drag racing. He was a gifted and skilled mechanic and was everyone’s “fix it guy.” Bob was extremely generous with his time and talent, always willing to lend a hand to family, friends, and countless others.
Bob will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends. To honor Bob’s passion for cars, and the community of car lovers that were such an integral part of his life, we encourage service attendees to drive their classic cars to the funeral and wear their favorite classic car t-shirts and jeans.
