Survived by children, Joshua Robert McCampbell, Joseph Robert (Hope) McCampbell, Robert Palmer “Trey” McCampbell, III; grandson, Tyler Matthew McCampbell; mother, Bunnie Adkins; brother, J L (Patricia) McCampbell; sister, Caroline (Kurtis) Fricke; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial Wed (12-6) 10 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Interment Omaha National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Negro League Hall of Fame in Kansas City, Mo. Or Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue.
