Roberta Dolores (Conway) McCampbell, 82, of Lake Bluff, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Highland Park Hospital.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Roberta was a remarkable woman who lived a life filled with love, learning, and compassion. She was known for her insatiable thirst for knowledge and excelled academically throughout her life.
More importantly, beyond her passion for knowledge, Roberta was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her. Whether it was offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a comforting presence, Roberta was always there for her friends and family in times of need. Her caring and nurturing nature knew no bounds, and she selflessly devoted herself to the well-being of others, including both people, through her years as a dedicated pharmacist and animals, through the numerous dogs she rescued and cared for during her life.
Roberta will be warmly remembered for her kind heart and her unwavering dedication to caring for those in her community. Her legacy of love and learning will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
May she rest in peace, knowing that her impact on the world will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
