Ronald Ernst Hess

. Ronald was born in Omaha on May 31, 1936. He attended Central High School in Omaha and graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, IA with both a B.S. and Masters of Architecture. Ron practiced architecture in Cedar Rapids, IA. Later he became a professor of Architecture and taught at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Oxford Brooks University, University of Oklahoma, Kansas State University and retired from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT. Ron and Judy Needham Hess were united in marriage August 25, 1962. Survivors include wife Judy Hess; daughters and sons-in-law, Maren and John Engelmohr, St. Louis, MO, Christine and Steve Baker, Omaha, NE, Lisa and Brian Holle, Bakersfield CA; grandchildren, Eviea and John Henry Engelmohr, Gretchen and Jeremy Baker, Brandon (wife Summer), Noah, and Morgan Holle; sisters, Elaine Russell (husband Ed), Karen Saxvik; nieces and nephews, Mark Wiesner (wife Helene), Jill Lile, Beth Boyens (husband Scott), Sarah Reuchlin (husband Roy), Matthew, Corrine and Hoel Wiesner, Julian and Peter Lile, Anna, Ethan, Emma, and Adam Boyens, Betty Reichlin. Preceded in death by parents Evelyn and George Hess. Cremation; no viewing or visitation. Memorials: Josie Harper Hospice House and Ron and Judy London Traveling Scholarship, University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
