Sarah C. Riddle

Sarah Christine Riddle (Armstrong) was born on April 27, 1973 in Omaha, NE and died on November 16, 2024 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE after a battle with Lymphoma. She is survived by her husband Jeff, son Geoffrey, and daughter Alyssa, her parents James and Sally Armstrong, sisters Elizabeth Armstrong-Friend and Ann Dinsmoor and fiancée Richard Hays and brother James Armstrong and his wife Kimberly Armstrong, nephews James Armstrong, Tyler Dinsmoor and William Friend, nieces Breanna Will and husband Jacob and Faith Armstrong.

Sarah was the second-born in a family of 4 children. A natural athlete, she excelled in many activities including basketball, volleyball, swimming and track and was also on the drill team. After high school she attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and then Southeast Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. Her love for volleyball continued into her early 30s where she played on leagues competitively. It was there she met her husband, Jeff. They were married in 2008 and had their first child a year later. She worked at Armbrust Dental, first as a dental assistant and then as office manager for nearly 30 years where she fostered relationships with customers with her warm and friendly nature. She and her family were active members at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE where she enjoyed playing in the bell choir.

In late 2019, she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she beat and was cleared in April of 2021. For the last year of her life, she faced the diagnosis and treatment for Lymphoma. She battled it with the same strength and grace that she approached every challenge in her life, straight on and head held high. She will be missed by all that knew her.
