Shannon Ann Taylor was a caring, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend. She left this world much too soon on April 23rd 2021 at age 50 after a very sudden but hard fought battle with cancer.
Shannon was born to Monty and Colleen Conway on December 19th 1970, and has one younger sister Kerry Fletcher. After graduating from high school, Shannon pursued her degree at UNO and went on to work for Mutual of Omaha for almost 20 years with her last role as Compliance Analyst in their 401k Division. She has three children, Kyle Nicholson (24), Meghan Taylor (17) and Brooke Taylor (15).
Shannon loved to travel and see the world with her favorite spots being sandy beaches. Her travel has taken her to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Iceland, and Bermuda to name just a few. Her other love was Interior Decorating. In fact, Shannon spent the last 5 years designing and planning every facet of her new home that is currently under construction.
Shannon’s battle with Cancer started just two short months ago and She fought as hard as she could up to the very end where she passed holding hands with her husband, sister, and friend. Donations will be accepted by the American Cancer Society in lieu of memorials
Please join us for her celebration – we welcome you with open arms.
