Sofiann impacted many lives and served well during her 81 years. She loved God, cherished her family, and became a Mormor and Farmor to many. She could set a table that made Emily Post proud and everyone was welcome there. On her last birthday, she was overwhelmed and surprised by the number of calls and well-wishes she received. The long-time relationships with her school chums and fellow military wives were precious to her. She taught well, in and out of the classroom, and her research skills will be missed by those who relied on her to find the answer to difficult questions. Sofiann was proud of her husband and grandaughter’s military service and believed we all have a part to play in our country. She was preceded in death by her husband who she missed enormously. She is survived by a brother she cherished, by sibling-in-laws who were dear friends, and a whole bunch of people who called her Mom and Mormor and Farmor and Grandma.
