“You go through life, trying to break out of the dullness, do something special, or be something special. Usually, not much comes of it. Then once in a while, something really bad happens, or something really good, or really strange – so bad, so good, or so strange that it makes for a good story.” – Steve Laughlin
Steve was a father, a husband, an architect, an artist and doodler, a designer, a traveler, a friend. But at his heart, he was a storyteller. Stories of love, youth, raising children, fishing, building – each tale enhanced since the last time you heard it.
We take with us the stories he told.
