Susan Laughlin

Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend Susan Laughlin passed peacefully on November 19, 2024. 

 Sue was born in Omaha, NE to Kenneth and Beverly Yager. She went to nursing school and worked as a rehab nurse for Immanuel Hospital. Sue then worked as a liaison between insurance companies and worker’s compensation patients. Later she started and ran her own medical management business.

 Sue spent most of her adult life in the San Francisco Bay area and 10 years in Parker, Colorado. Her last years were back in her hometown of Omaha. She loved 60’s and 70’s music, travel, flowers (especially stargazer lilies) and reading suspense and autobiography books. 

Survived by daughter, Jennifer Laughlin; mother, Beverly Yager; siblings, Mike Yager, Patty Yager, Mark (Rita) Yager, Tim (Traci) Yager, Terri Yager, and Rosemary Yager and Shay (Dave) Marson; many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Preceded in death by father, Kenneth Yager and nephew, Mark Reeve.

Celebration of Life Service Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at 10:30AM with fellowship to follow at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha.
