Suzanne was born in Omaha, NE to Joseph and Frances Marie (Powers) Prokupek. She graduated high school from Notre Dame Academy in 1958. She married her husband of 63 years, Joseph A. Micek on April 18, 1959 and they raised seven children. Suzanne will always be remembered for her love of family and her passion for cooking and painting. She was most famous for her kolaches, plum dumplings, perogies and houska. Suzanne also loved to play the piano and sing. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Suzanne was greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents; brothers, Jimmy and Joe; brother-in-law, Will; great granddaughter, Alivia; son-in-law, Kip. Survived by husband, Joseph Micek; children: Denise Wolever, Lisa Micek-Johnson (Shaun), Anita Karr, Amy Byrne, Joe Micek (Michelle), Sandra Zocco (Carlo) and Tom Micek (Keri-Jo); 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
