Theodore (Theo) Ryan Snow was born Oct 29, 2019 to his loving parents Kim and Blake along with his twin sister Ella. Together they joined their new big sister Josslyn. Although his first 40 days of life were spent in the NICU, he was constantly surrounded by love. His caring mother spent almost every waking hour there. From the moment Theo arrived, it was clear that we had an energetic child with a joyful spirit. His first noises are best described as a happy growl.
Theo would cheerfully jump in his bouncer, his growls and coos announcing the fun he was having. His toothless beaming smile and beautiful blue eyes would light up a room. Those big smiles would grow even greater when his eyes locked with any member of his loving family. The joy he felt in playing and interacting with Josslyn was innocent and pure; as if nothing in the world could ever bring a frown to his face. The love Josslyn displays for her baby siblings is undeniable. Josslyn's favorite game was making silly baby sounds and watching as he giggled and reached out for her. Theo loved the sound of his mother's voice and the entertaining activities she would play. He loved tickles from his father, and the blue hat he would almost constantly be wearing.
As Theo and Ella grew together their personalities began to develop. Soon, they started to notice each other on a deeper level. They would steal pacifiers from each other, and most recently, talk back and forth. Ella appears to be more thoughtful, opinionated and focused. The one who would rein Theo someday, and persuade him to slow down just a touch. Theo, conversely, was constantly on the go. Rolling around to get from toy to toy. Always reaching for the next, most interesting thing that caught his eye. We could see that as they grew together, they would be a wonderful balance. The development of their relationship was exciting to dream about.
Theo's relationship with God entered a new chapter on June 21st when he was baptized, alongside Ella, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
With all of the wonderful times, 8 1/2 months passed in the blink of an eye. Looking back we can recount day after day of happiness, love and wonder for the future. Each day was as cherished as the previous. All the same, it's as if the hundreds of smiles, giggles, dirty diapers, owies, and snuggles all seem to be wrapped up into one single fleeting moment.
A moment of LOVE, that will remain in our minds, hearts, and souls forever.
Gone much too soon.
