Thomas E. Hansen

Member Steamfitters Local 464 for 38 yrs

After retirement Tom volunteered at the Nebraska Medical Center Emergency Room for seventeen years.

Tom was an active member of the Omaha running club for many years. He volunteered for races after his running days were over.

Tom was an avid Gardner. He enjoyed sharing his harvest with friends, neighbors and co-workers at the E.R!

He loved having get togethers with friends and enjoying his fresh vegetables.



Preceded in death by parents, Ray and Verna Hansen; son, Douglas Hansen; brother, Bill Hansen.

Survived by son, Kirk (Laura) Hansen; daughter, Michelle (Bill) Andrews; step daughter, Chari' Banks; 5 grandchildren; sister in law, June Hansen; nieces and nephews; and long time friend, Jean Proulx.



In lieu of flowers, can donate time or money to the Josie Harper Hospice House, The Lauritzen Gardens or plant a tree.
