Thomas R Herrig

Thomas R. Herrig of Omaha, NE. Passed away on September 29, 2016. Tom was born on February 20, 1952, in Slayton MN, and was raised in Iona, MN. After graduating High School, Tom settled in Omaha, where he founded Thingsville, Inc., a chain of novelty and clothing stores that spread across the Midwest. Later in life Tom started a landscaping business. Tom was devoted to and loved to spend time with his children. He is survived by his sons, Kyle Herrig, Ryan (Hilary) Herrig, and Scott Herrig; daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Schulte; siblings, Rose (Jerry) Haeg, Joe (Nancy) Herrig, Ed (Marilyn) Herrig, and Marge (Gerry) Swart; and many nieces and nephews.



Services:

Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 1:30pm at the John A. Gentleman 72nd St. Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Kyle Herrig, care of John A. Gentleman Mortuaries.
