Yoshu’s family was one of the first to immigrate here from Burma and founded the Karen community and church in Omaha. He was known as the Father of the Karen Society of Nebraska.



Yoshu is survived by his wife, Kyu Win; children, Khushee (Saw) Victor, Salweena (Saw) Khu, Pawthalay (Aung) Lwin, Thabwe (Bu) Kin, Neutron Yoshu, Hteenay (Kaw) Hai, and Megumi Yoshu; numerous grandchildren.



Funeral Service 10AM Saturday, Nov 15, 2014 at the 72nd St Chapel. Visitation Thursday from 6-9PM with a Wake Service at 7PM at the funeral home.
